1st place, Division III (small teams) This last weekend, the kids really started showing their grit. Times started falling all over the place, and our places started rising quickly as well. In high poing competition, Jacob and Alex Lockhart placed 3rd for 8 and unders and 13-14 boys respectively. As a team, we finished 1st for Division III (small teams). We easily beat the small team that Salida brought down, but what really got us going was that we beat Rocky Ford by 22 points. Rocky had 69 more entries than the Trofins did and were competing in Division II...But it was still fun to go and get them! |
